Article 1 – Conclusion of the contract:

The reservation takes effect once the owner has checked the availability of the tree house and the periods chosen. The reservation will be definitive when the owner has received an account of 30% of the total cost of the stay from the client and a signed and dated copy of the contract of hire (2 pages). The client should keep a second copy.

The hiring, concluded by this present act, cannot, in any situation, benefit, even partially, a third person whether physical or moral, without the written agreement of the owner. Any infraction of this clause will lead to the immediate cancellation of the contract on the basis of fault on the part of the hirer and the financial product of contract remains the property acquired by the owner.

Article 2 – Cancellation by the hirer:

In the case of cancellation by the owner, the totality of the sum paid by the hirer will be reimbursed.

In the case of especially bad weather during the stay (storms, high winds …), the following procedure will take effect: if METEO FRANCE announces an « ORANGE » alert and/or gusts of wind superior to 70 km/hour, the hirer will be contacted and offered replacement accommodation close to the domain depending on availability In this case, the hirer will be offered a second night in a tree house at half tariff, depending on dates available, during the following 12 months. In the case of deferred or late arrival, the hirer must inform the owner. If the hirer is not present within 2 hours of the arrival time on the date mentioned in the contract, without having notified the owner in advance, the contract will be considered to have been cancelled and the sum paid remains the property of the owner who can re-let the tree house.

The reservation becomes effective as soon as the hirer has paid the owner an account (30%). The balance must be settled on the day of arrival.

If the deposit is not sufficient to cover such costs, the hirer promises to complete the sum after departure. In the case of early departure (at a time prior to the time mentioned in the contract) which prevents the evaluation of the condition of the tree house and the inventory of furnishings on the same day as the departure of the hirer, the owner will send the hirer the deposit within the following week.
